For celebrants using Celebrant Suite. Your own couples' terms are separate and you set those on your own site.
Celebrant Suite provides website, booking and payment software for marriage and ceremony celebrants. These terms cover your use of that software. By creating an account you agree to them.
These terms are between you, the celebrant, and Celebrant Suite. They are not the terms between you and the couples who book you — those are yours, and you set them on your own site.
You need an account to build and run a site. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give us accurate business details, and tell us if something changes. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be entitled to work as a celebrant where you operate, and your site must not say otherwise.
Everything you put on your site — your words, photographs, logo, packages and prices — stays yours. You give Celebrant Suite permission to host, display and back it up so your site can work, and nothing more.
You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload, including photographs taken by someone else. If you bring content across from an existing website, you confirm you have that right.
Content that is unlawful, misleading, or not yours to use may be removed, and an account may be suspended where it is used for something unlawful.
Access is by subscription. The price, billing period and anything included are shown when you subscribe. Fees are charged in advance and are not refundable for part of a period already started.
Where couples pay you by card through your site, that money goes to your own connected payment account, not to us. A platform fee may apply to each payment and is shown to you before you switch card payments on. Payment processing is subject to the payment provider's own terms.
You can cancel at any time and your site stays live until the end of the period you have paid for. After that it is taken offline. Your content can be exported before then on request.
We work to keep the service running and available, but no online service is perfect. Maintenance and occasional interruptions happen, and features change and improve over time. We will not remove something you rely on without telling you.
The details couples give through your site are yours to use for their ceremony. Celebrant Suite processes them on your behalf, stores them securely, and does not use them for its own marketing. You are responsible for handling them lawfully and for the privacy wording on your own site.
You can send your site's email from your own domain once it is verified. Until then, email is sent from a Celebrant Suite address. You are responsible for what is sent from your site, and for keeping any domain you own registered and pointed correctly.
You can close your account at any time. We may end it where fees are unpaid, these terms are broken, or the service is used unlawfully — with notice, except where the law or the seriousness of the matter requires it immediately.
Celebrant Suite provides software, not celebrancy services. We are not responsible for the ceremonies you perform, the agreements you make with couples, or the accuracy of what you publish. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under consumer law. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the matter arose.
These terms may change as the service grows. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
